A Bronze for Lucy at Nationals!
Dylan Conway and Lucy Hawley began their first experience of Nationals up at Ponds Forge, Sheffield on Tuesday, 4th August.
Lucy, swimming in the 50 Fly put in a solid swim in the morning heats and managed to produce a new personal best which saw her outswim a large contingent of her age group to make it through to the final as second fastest qualifier. That evening, in the last of the individual finals Lucy did herself and all her club mates at KRSC proud by putting in another strong performance which saw her produce yet another personal best, bagging herself a Bronze medal. Kingston Royals Swimming Club provides swimming for varying ages and abilities from beginners to Olympic hopefuls.
The club's main competitive squads compete in inter-club, county, regional and national competition while swimfit squads provide options for those wishing to keep fit and enjoy swimming on a more recreational basis.
For children learning to swim, the cadet programme offers lessons for beginners right up to those approaching competitive club standard. The masters squad provides training and competition for more mature swimmers.
Rushmoor Royals have now published their Accepted and Rejected Entries Lists. Please read on now if you wish to be put on a Reserve List which will be submitted to Rushmoor on Monday, 5th October.
