Kingston Royals Swimming Club was founded over thirty years ago and since its formation has consistently been among the top performing clubs in Surrey. It provides swimming for varying ages and abilities from beginners to Olympic hopefuls. Originally formed through the amalgamation of Kingston Swimming Club and Surrey Ladies Swimming Club, today it is a thriving and vibrant club attracting swimmers aged five to eighty five.
The club's main competitive squads compete in inter-club, county, regional and national competition while swimfit squads provide options for those wishing to keep fit and enjoy swimming on a more recreational basis. For children learning to swim, the cadet programme offers lessons for beginners right up to those approaching competitive club standard. While the masters squad provides training and competition for more mature swimmers.
The club also has a thriving water polo squad. The KRSC coaching staff are all highly qualified and passionate about swimming. Head Coach, Paul Hurley, was a former national swimmer himself and Head of Cadets, Penny Webster, is a Masters European record-holder.
