Development Squad

The Development Squad is the second stage of Kingston Royals S.C. programme of Competitive Swimming.

Entry into the Development Squad is generally via the Kingston Royals Tadpole Squad.

The content of the training for the swimmers of the Development Squad is structured to achieve the following aims:

• To ensure that swimmers continue to develop their stroke technique in parallel with the progressive development of the new competitive training skills.

• Achieve competitive experience at Club, Inter-Club and Open Meets or County Championships.

• The development of good team spirit, commitment and training skills that will assist the squad swimmers in their future involvement within the Kingston Royals S.C. competitive programme.
  

Any movement of swimmers will also be at the Squad Coach's discretion.
