NATIONAL YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS 2006

COMPETITION REPORT

DAY ONE - Tuesday 1st August 2006

Day One saw Alys Thomas and Matthew Breckon competing - Alys achieved a PB in her 100m Freestyle, going sub one minute for the first time long course; Matthew achieved a PB in his 400m Freestyle.

DAY TWO - Wednesday 2nd August 2006

Day Two saw the intrepid twosome competing again - Matthew in the 100 Free and 800 Free and Alys in the 800 Free.

DAY THREE - Thursday 3rd August 2006

Day Three - Alys Thomas competed in the 200 Free and the 100m Butterfly events, Alys qualified for the final of the 100m Butterfly and finished 7th with a 1 sec PB.

DAY FOUR - Friday 4th August 2006

Day Four - Matthew Breckon competed in the 200m Freestyle.

DAY FIVE - Saturday 5th August 2006

Day Five - Alys qualified for the 200m Butterfly final and finished in 8th place, knocking 2 secs off her PB achieved in the heats.

DAY SIX - Sunday 6th August 2006

Day Six - Alys competed in the 400m Freestyle.
