Leatherhead Easter Meet
7th and 8th
April 2007
Last
weekend, 25 Kingston Royals swimmers participated successfully in
Leatherhead's excellent Easter meet at Crystal Palace, winning 19 Golds,
12 Silvers and 13 Bronzes, as well as gaining a number of NQTs, and
achieving many PBs. This resulted in the club achieved third place in
the "Top Visiting Club" rankings.
One notable individual achievement was by Vincent de
Raucourt, who won the "Top Boy" award. Marissa North came second in the
"Top Girl" list, and James Young managed third place in "Top Boy",
despite suffering from a dreadful cold all weekend.
